PARTNERS IN OUR FIRM

The current partners at Agnew Peckham are Stephen Bagworth, Lucy Brun, Jeannine Gourlie and Debbie McDonald.

Steven BagworthStephen Bagworth is the managing partner of the firm and has corporate responsibility for the firm's facilities planning services. In 20 years of health care planning, he has worked with hospitals across Canada and internationally. Stephen has developed an expertise in alternative procurement models and has been responsible for the firm's involvement in public private partnerships (P3). Before joining Agnew Peckham, Stephen worked for many years with a large international architectural firm and subsequently developed his own successful hospital architectural practice. He holds bachelor degrees in Environmental Sciences and Architecture. Stephen is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Lucy BrunLucy Brun is responsible for the firm's strategic, clinical program and ambulatory care planning services. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, facility programming and utilization management. Lucy has extensive experience in ambulatory care planning and coauthored a book on the topic. She also led the firm's efforts in developing hospital planning guidelines related to infection prevention and control. Lucy is a member of the Board of the Anne Johnston Health Station, a community health centre serving youth, seniors and persons with disabilities, and led the strategic planning process as chair of the strategic planning committee. Lucy is a Registered Nurse and has a Masters in Business Administration and is a Certified Health Executive.

Jeannine GourlieJeannine Gourlie is responsible for the firm's practice in women's and children's health services and master programming. She has extensive experience in facility programming, clinical programming and is an expert in maternity planning. She has authored the firm's newsletters on this topic and participated in updating the federal Family-Centred Maternity Care National Guidelines. Jeannine is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Health Executive. She is a member of the College of Nurses, the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and the Canadian College of Health Services Executives.

Debbie McDonaldDebbie McDonald is responsible for the firm's practices in non-acute services including mental health, complex continuing care and long term care, rehabilitation and specialized geriatric services planning. She also has considerable experience and interest in ambulatory care planning. Debbie is a member of the Board of Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, a multi-site organization providing long term care and community support services to seniors. Debbie holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Health Science in Health Administration and is a Certified Health Executive.

Together with these individuals, and the leadership of the firm's senior consulting staff, a team of consultants and associates with varied backgrounds and expertise brings an indepth and broad scope of consulting services, focused solely on the delivery of health care services.
