Integrated Approach to Equipment Planning Adds Value
January 2012
Agnew Peckham offers full service equipment planning, which complements our facility planning services. Integrating equipment planning with functional programming during stage 2 planning helps ensure that the space will “work”, providing an effective environment for the people, processes and equipment. Our expertise in functional operations and medical devices and technology together with a unique understanding of the broader implications of equipment and technology on planning and design are value-adds to the process. Beyond the functional program stage, we integrate our work with the architects through the specification and tendering processes and tailor the scope to the project requirements. In a recent Manitoba hospital redevelopment project, for example, we’re involved through the entire tendering process.
